Lyrics
The fight looks fierce, the night feels long But in my soul, I hear a song Not of defeat, not of despair Victory’s echo fills the air Already won, already free The cross declared it over me Before I moved, before I spoke Grace had already broke the yoke
Mountains rise, storms may shake But nothing now can my faith break Through trials fierce and shadows cast My future sealed, my hope will last Already won, already free The cross declared it over me Before I moved, before I spoke Grace had already broke the yoke
I stand in faith, not in fear His voice in my spirit I hear ‘It is finished,’ the battle’s doneBy His blood, I’ve already won
Already won, already free The cross declared it over meBefore I moved, before I spoke
Grace had already broke the yoke Already won, already freeBy His grace, eternally
We often wait for proof before we praise. But the truth of Scripture is that the victory has already been secured. Through Christ, the outcome is not in doubt—even if we can’t see it yet. Worship isn’t about celebrating what we’ve done; it’s about celebrating what Jesus has already accomplished.
Today, worship like the battle is already won. Pray not from desperation, but from victory. Declare God’s promises out loud, even if your situation hasn’t changed yet.
Lord, thank You that in You, I’ve already won. Help me trust Your victory instead of fearing my present circumstances. Let my life reflect the joy and confidence that comes from knowing the end of the story. Amen.
