Discovering God’s faithful presence and purpose in delays, detours, and seasons of silence.
God’s peace doesn’t always make sense. It’s not about things going right—it’s about His presence being real. The world offers escape, but Jesus offers something better: calm in the middle of the storm.
Today, when anxiety rises, pause and pray. Breathe deeply. Speak out loud: “Jesus, Your peace is enough for me.”
No spotlight, no angels, no holy song… Just the silence where I knew You’d been all along. I wasn’t lookin’ for a sign to believe… But that’s the night that peace found me. Peace found me when I laid it down. Peace found me on the battleground. Peace found me when I stopped the fight. Peace found me in the middle of the night. Didn’t earn it, didn’t try— It just came when I ran dry. Peace found me. And I don’t know why… But peace found me. I thought it came with answers, thought I had to strive, Thought I had to clean the mess before I felt alive. But grace don’t wait for perfect to be done—It just walks in… like the morning sun. It didn’t ask permission, didn’t knock loud… Just whispered in the silence when no one was around. Didn’t fix the world, but it fixed what I need… That was the night peace found me. Peace found me when I gave up pride. Peace found me when I let Him inside. Peace found me when I told the truth—That I’m weak, and I need You. Didn’t earn it, didn’t try—It just came when I ran dry. Peace found me… And I still don’t know why… But peace found me. I don’t have the words for what You did… But I know I felt it settle in. The calm, the still, the holy ease—You met the storm and spoke… “Be peace.” Peace found me in the simple sound. Peace found me when no one was around. Peace found me in the letting go… Peace found me in the overflow. Not a song, not a sign… But a knowing deep inside…Peace found me. And now I know why. Yeah, peace found me…When I stopped asking why.
Prince of Peace, thank You for meeting me in my chaos. Let Your stillness fill the storm in me. Anchor my soul in You. Amen.
