Day 10: Everlasting Arms

Theme

Fatigue with MS isn’t just being tired — it’s an exhaustion that can’t always be fixed by rest. On those days, you can lean fully into God’s strength to carry you when your own energy is gone.

Scripture

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9a (NIV)

Devotional

There are days when fatigue wins — when even simple tasks feel like climbing a mountain. Pushing harder isn’t always the answer; sometimes the wisest thing you can do is rest and let God hold you. Paul learned that God’s grace didn’t remove the thorn in his flesh but gave him strength to live with it. MS fatigue can be that thorn — an unwelcome companion — but it’s also an invitation to see God’s strength in new ways.Your worth isn’t measured by productivity. God’s love doesn’t shrink on your low-energy days. He is just as present in your stillness as He is in your activity. Let Him be your rest. Music Link:

Song

Everlasting Arms

Lyrics

(Verse 1)The weight is heavy, my steps are fewBut I know Your mercy will see me throughWhen I can’t keep going, when I’ve lost my songYou’re the steady place I’ve leaned on all along(Chorus)I’m leaning on Your everlasting armsWhen I’m too weak, You are strongThrough every shadow, through every stormI’m leaning on Your everlasting arms
(Verse 2)The day feels longer than my will can bearBut I find my courage in the fact You’re thereEvery breath I’m given, every step I takeIs held in the hands that will never break(Chorus)I’m leaning on Your everlasting armsWhen I’m too weak, You are strongThrough every shadow, through every stormI’m leaning on Your everlasting arms(Bridge)When I can’t rise, You lift me highWhen I can’t speak, You hear my cryYou carry me through night’s alarmsI’m leaning on Your everlasting arms(Chorus)I’m leaning on Your everlasting armsWhen I’m too weak, You are strongThrough every shadow, through every stormI’m leaning on Your everlasting arms

Prayer

Lord, when I am weak, help me lean fully on You. Remind me that Your grace is enough and that my value is not in my strength but in Your love. Amen.
