Theme
Some days with MS feel like you’re carrying a weight too heavy to bear — physically, emotionally, or spiritually. But God never asks you to carry it alone. He promises His strength will meet you where yours ends.
Scripture
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 (NIV)
Devotional
It’s not weakness to admit that something is too heavy — it’s wisdom. Even Jesus, carrying His cross to Golgotha, allowed Simon of Cyrene to help Him. If the Son of God accepted help, we can too.Too often, pride convinces us to hide our struggles. We say, “I’m fine” while feeling like we’re about to break. But God’s rest is not earned — it’s received. The invitation to “come” in Matthew 11:28 is for the burdened, not the strong.Your heaviest loads may never disappear in this life, but you were never meant to carry them without Him. Resting in His presence doesn’t remove every difficulty, but it changes how you walk through it. Music Link:

Stronger Than the Weight
Lyrics
(Verse 1)I’ve been walking with a shadow, it’s been pressing down on meEvery step feels a little harder, every breath a little weakBut in the middle of the struggle, I feel Your presence nearYou lift the weight I’m under, and You whisper, “Do not fear”(Chorus)You are stronger than the weight I bearYou are faithful in the midnight prayerWhen my hands can’t hold it allYou lift me so I won’t fallYou are stronger, stronger than the weight I bear(Verse 2)There are mountains I can’t move, valleys I can’t crossDays I’m counting as a lossBut You remind me who I am, and whose I am stillThe burden’s not mine alone — it’s Yours to fill(Chorus)You are stronger than the weight I bearYou are faithful in the midnight prayerWhen my hands can’t hold it allYou lift me so I won’t fallYou are stronger, stronger than the weight I bear(Bridge)In my weakness, You are ableYou set my feet on steady groundEvery fear is laid upon Your tableEvery chain is breaking now(Chorus)You are stronger than the weight I bearYou are faithful in the midnight prayerWhen my hands can’t hold it allYou lift me so I won’t fallYou are stronger, stronger than the weight I bear
Prayer
Lord, I can’t carry this alone. Thank You for being my strength when I have none. Teach me to lean on You fully and to accept the help You send. Amen.
