Day 19: Steadfast

Theme

MS flare-ups can come without warning, bringing new or worsening symptoms that disrupt daily life. These moments can shake your sense of security and make you feel vulnerable. But faith is not rooted in how steady life feels — it’s anchored in the unchanging character of God.

Scripture

"He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defense; I shall not be greatly moved." — Psalm 62:2 (KJV)

Devotional

When a flare-up hits, it’s easy to feel like the ground beneath you has shifted. Plans are disrupted, energy is drained, and uncertainty takes center stage. But the truth is, God has not moved. He is still your Rock.Standing firm in faith doesn’t mean ignoring the reality of the symptoms — it means acknowledging them while clinging to God’s promises. David wrote Psalm 62 during a time of great pressure and opposition, yet he declared that his soul found rest in God alone. In flare-ups, speak His Word over your situation. Remind yourself daily: this storm may be loud, but my God is louder. This pain may be real, but His presence is even more real.
