Theme
MS often reminds you of your limits. Tasks you once did easily may now require more effort, or may not be possible at all. But God’s Word says that His power is made perfect in weakness — meaning that the very areas you feel weakest can become the clearest displays of His strength.
Scripture
“But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
Devotional
When Paul wrote about his 'thorn in the flesh,' he knew the frustration of living with something that would not go away. He prayed repeatedly for God to remove it, yet God’s answer was, 'My grace is sufficient for you.' That grace did not just help Paul cope — it empowered him to live with purpose and impact despite the struggle.Living with MS can feel like living with your own thorn. But it is in these moments of limitation that God’s strength shines brightest. People may see your perseverance and think it’s your own willpower, but you know the truth — it’s His power flowing through you.Every act of faith you take while feeling weak is a testimony that God is real, His grace is enough, and His power is greater than any diagnosis. You don’t have to hide your weakness; you can boast in it, because it becomes a stage for His glory. Music Link:
Song
In Your Strength Alone
Lyrics
(Verse 1) I’ve come to the end of what I can do But that’s where I find I’m carried by You In every battle, in every fight Your strength becomes my guiding light (Chorus) It’s Your strength alone that lifts me high Your grace that holds me through the night When I am weak, then I am strong In Your strength alone, I still belong (Verse 2) The world may see me trembling, unsure But You are my anchor, steady and pure When fear surrounds and hope feels gone Your strength sings my victory song (Chorus) It’s Your strength alone that lifts me high Your grace that holds me through the night When I am weak, then I am strong In Your strength alone, I still belong (Bridge) You never fail, You never fade Your power breaks the heavy chains I’ll boast in You, my all in all Your strength will catch me when I fall (Chorus) It’s Your strength alone that lifts me high Your grace that holds me through the night When I am weak, then I am strong In Your strength alone, I still belong
Prayer
Father, thank You that my weakness is not the end — it’s the place where Your power begins. Teach me to trust in Your strength and to let my life be a testimony of Your grace. Amen.
