Renewal is more than just getting back the strength you lost — it’s receiving something new from God that you didn’t have before. When the long hours and heavy responsibilities have drained you, His Spirit doesn’t just refill the tank, He changes the atmosphere inside you. Renewal in Christ brings fresh laughter where there were only sighs, songs of gratitude where there was only silence, and joy that surprises you in the middle of exhaustion.
Paul reminds us that “though outwardly we are wasting away, inwardly we are being renewed day by day.” (2 Corinthians 4:16). That renewal is a gift — not earned, not manufactured — and it often shows up right when you’ve run out of everything else.
